Artist MANIFESTOMy work is rooted in constant search for answers that have a Spiritual depth And for tranquility of the Soul. My art is a quiet invitation to slow down, turn inward, And listen To feel To connect To sense what we are searching for, even When words are not yet clear. I create from intuition. Every piece begins as a gentle inner shift, a subtle emotion, A feeling, a question, A longing for something still undefined. Through color, form, and texture, That inner world takes shape. Slowly, steadily, It emerges And evolves. My works are designed to allow for a pause, To breathe, To soften the noise of the outside world and reconnect with What lives within. |
My art holds emotions, invites contemplation, and Self-rediscovery. It does not offer answers, but gently Illuminates the path towards them. Creativity is a sacred practice. Through art, we remember who we are beneath expectation, urgency, and distraction. Everything I create exists to serve this purpose To help the viewer rediscover themselves, Reflect on their inner landscape, And find what they are searching for, not by looking outward, but by returning inward. Art as sanctuary.
Art as reflection. Art as a doorway back to the Self. |
ABOUTEla Milko, born and raised in Poland is a New York City artist. She began her artistic endeavors in her early years with painting portraits of family and friends. Although Ela chose a different direction for her professional life (she carries a master degree in architecture), she has continued her artistic journey. She presented her art in multiple individual and group exhibitions in Poland and the United States. Ela is familiar with various techniques and materials, and continuously learns new approaches to art. She is fascinated with human stories and so people are her most favorite subjects to study, and paint. Furthermore, she has expanded her work into surface pattern design, bringing her imagery into textiles and home goods while keeping the same sense of story and feeling found in her paintings. More recently, Ela has illustrated children's book, published mandala coloring books and is working on more publications that are aligned with her artistic and spiritual interests. Outside the studio, Ela is deeply interested in spiritual and alternative healing practices and is a certified Reiki Master. This sensitivity to energy, intuition, and inner reflection gently weaves its way into her creative process and the atmosphere of her work. |
